I will probably have something interesting to say later but for now...

I have this book, new, sealed, to sell. I bought 2 by accident because I am extremely CLEVER. RRP £15, but I will let it go for 10 including postage. Please pity me, I don't want two!

Two is an unlucky number.

It is actually the most gorgeous thing ever and makes me drool uncontrollably.

In fact, the most fantastic drawing of an octopus EVER lives in between its covers.

So if you love nature and you love me...

Buy it.. please?

Ok I will pop in later and check my hours and leave it behind the upstairs bar. Just tell whoever is working that its just in the little cubby hole beneath the beer taps and I'll put a post-it on it! If you cant, no worries I'll be there on friday :)

Hmm. Now you mention it, we understand it in the American way for definate in fact I think that's how it has been originally. Sometimes I use 'clever' quite loosely e.g. "clever boy!" to a dog. It's not as strong or technical(?) as the word 'intelligent' I suppose. I probably didn't answer that well, hopefully a fellow Englishperson will save me!

Could send me a copy of the drawing of the octopus? You'd actually make my week if you did.
